lyrics

I'm awakened by the cold grains of sand. Seems I've made it ashore.
Spit out from the rage of the storm. Was it all an illusion..

Dreamist, are you merging my reality with your crafted delusions?
Surely it was all just a dream but it feels like the real thing.

Get up! Move fast! Get away from the shore. Don't want the water to swallow me no more.
My mind is numb; I'm weak in the bones. I must soldier on, but where should I go?

Which way will we walk? Hope we don't descend deep into the dark.
Our path we must decide. Awake with purpose or lay down and die.

I find a large stone in my reach. Lift myself off the ground.
The wind hits against my ear, but I can't hear the sound.

A blinding light pierces my eyes. I walk a bit closer
Reaching out for anything. Then I feel warmth.

Hiding behind the mist. Shooting across my face. It reaches out for me.
This tranquility. It enters my heart. It overwhelms me.

Oh bright sun, hold me closer. Blind me in this divine, euphoria.
Feel the grass on my fingers. Who knew that this world was so beautiful?

Which way will we walk? Hope we don't descend deep into the dark.
Our path we must decide. Awake with purpose or lay down and die.

I will follow the light beyond the tress.
Am I still asleep? I'm still unclear.
